Royal London Homoeopathic Hospital changes name
Monday 20th September, 2010
The Royal London Homoeopathic Hospital will now be called the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine to better reflect the hospital’s treatment methods.
The move comes after controversy about the name ‘homeopathy’, a treatment which MPs said should no longer receive funding by the NHS.
However, the change was recommended by senior staff due to the hospital integrating other complementary and conventional medicine treatments such as acupuncture and herbal medicine.
