The Natural And Gentle Way To Health
What to Expect from a ConsultationYour first consultation will take up to 1 ½ hours. I take a full case history asking about your current state of health, your medical history and your family’s medical history plus details of your diet and lifestyle. I will take your blood pressure and look at your tongue and pulse, and at your iris’s to determine where the imbalances lie in your body. I will then make recommendations for any herbal remedies, lifestyle changes, diet, and supplements needed to treat, balance and support you. There is no set number of consultations as each client is individual and some conditions may need longer term support. Follow-up visits will take up to 45 minutes to assess your progress.
Iridology may be included as part of your health assessment or a separate consultation can be done with a full written report.
CostsFirst consultation: £65 plus any herbal remedies (if prescribed)
Follow-up consultations: £45 plus any herbal remedies (if prescribed)
About My TherapiesI have been trained in Western herbal medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine and some TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and use mainly Western and Ayurvedic herbal medicine in my practice. In Ayurveda the key to health lies in understanding your “doshic” constitution which is composed of a mixture of Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
Naturopathy is a holistic system of healing; it’s a natural non-invasive therapy where the person is treated rather than the condition. Naturopathy draws from a range of therapies including herbs, supplements, iridology, homeopathy, tissue salts, and diet and lifestyle advice.
Herbal Medicine is the use of plant remedies where the whole or parts of the plant are used.
Iridology is the study of the eyes; the iris in particular. It is a non-invasive therapy and does not diagnose specific conditions but what it can do is help to understand where your health problems started.
