Over the last few years I have developed a special interest in fertility and pregnancy.  I treat many couples who are trying to conceive naturally or with assisted reproductive therapies. Acupuncture helps by regulating the cycle, improving blood flow to the uterus, and dealing with stress and the inevitable emotions that arise when trying to conceive. 


Acupuncture works by inserting extremely fine needles in points around the body, mostly on your legs and feet and hands and arms. Generally treatment is painless although sometimes you do feel an ache or tingling around the needles - this is a good sign that we have connected with your energy.  A course of treatment is normally a minimum of 6 sessions although everyone responds differently and some
areas like fertility may require longer periods of treatment.
