About Me
I ran my own successful company for 33 years. During my time in business, I developed an interest in psychotherapy and undertook my training. I have found that my awareness of the benefits of meditation and self-development helped me enormously in both my business and my psychotherapy training. I posses a unique combination of business and mentoring skills combined with counselling and psychotherapy training. It was my dream of using these skills to benefit others that led me to my current work.

About My Services
Transpersonal Psychotherapy
Transpersonal psychotherapy considers the interconnectedness of all things and the meaning of life itself. So your spiritual beliefs or lack of them can be integrated with the work.
In transpersonal psychotherapy personal crises are seen to have a useful purpose in that they:
- Act as a warning signal
- Indicate the way for us to change, grow and unfold.
This also gives us the opportunity to re-examine our life with a view to change, thus preventing a recurrence of the old patterns.
During the therapy sessions there is an opportunity to explore:
- Our motivation
- Sense of purpose
- Building and expanding on your strengths
- Developing your qualities
- Help find a balance to work and personal life
- Help clarify your sense of direction
- Help to set goals that give you a fulfilment and achievement in life.
This can all be achieved through:
- Breath-work
- Body awareness
- Dream work
- Creativity
- Visualisation
- Old fashion talking and exploring.
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) integrates elements of many effective psychotherapies in structured protocols that are designed to maximize treatment effects. These include psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural, interpersonal, experiential, and body-centered therapies. EMDR is an information processing therapy and uses an eight phase approach.
During EMDR the client attends to past and present experiences in brief sequential doses while simultaneously focusing on an external stimulus. Then the client is instructed to let new material become the focus of the next set of dual attention. This sequence of dual attention and personal association is repeated many times in the session.
EMDR has been used successfully for
EMDR works really well in conjunction with other therapies I use, helping to bring lasting change.

Client Feedback
“I wanted to thank you again for helping me to make life so much easier to cope with on a daily basis. I have been to three other therapist''s in the last 20 years, none of which made a difference to my adult life after the post traumatic stress I have suffered. The cloud has lifted and the sunshine is pouring through again.”
“You absolutely have... altered my life forever. I cannot find the words to thank you enough!”
"I cannot believe how much your counselling has helped me believe in myself once again. The changes that have come about as a result of the counselling are amazing. I feel like a new woman."
"I owe you such a huge thank you as I often use the tools you taught me; breathing exercises when I can’t sleep and am anxious, positive thoughts and being able to put things into perspective, and letting go of events that I can’t change.
