A WARM WELCOME TO HOMEOPATHY
north Northamptonshire
Homeopathy is a Safe, Gentle and Effective Medical Therapy.
It is amazingly effective.
All illness and disease is treatable - at any age.
It is drug free. It works with the body's natural immunity

Hello, I am Steve Scrutton.
I was born in Norwich in 1946. I am married with grown up children - and a growing number of grandchildren. I became interested in homeopathy when I suffered from gastric ulcers, and refused to take a drug that was known to have adverse effects on the heart. Homeopathy cured these completely, and from that time I have used homeopathy for myself and my family - safe and effective medical treatment - without the danger of drugs. Before moving into homeopathy, I worked as a teacher (in comprehensive and special schools), and then as a social worker (with young offenders, in child protection, and then in managing services for older people). I trained in Homeopathy with the British Institute of Homeopathy, qualifying in 2000 (DIHom-Prct), and I have practiced as a homeopath since that time.
What do I have to do?
The first thing to do is to email or telephone me to book a consultation. If you would rather speak to me personally before commiting yourself to an appointment, I usually organise an 'Open Day' each month so that people can 'drop in' to talk about their illness, and for me to explain how homeopathy might help.
The first consultation will usually last for an hour, to an hour and a half. During that time we will build up a complete picture of your symptoms and your illness, including your past medical history. I will ask you to describe your symptoms in as much detail as possible. I will also want to know about other aspects of your life, such as your diet, your emotions, your sleep patterns, your work, and how you cope with stress.
On the basis of this information, I will be able to prescribe remedies for you, along with instructions about how to keep them, and take them.
The number of subsequent consultations you will require will depend on your personal circumstances, like your state of health, and how long you have been ill. I like to see patients in monthly to six-weekly intervals.
It is normally necessary to have at least three to four sessions, after which we will discuss the progress made, and consider future treatment plans.
