Multi-disciplinary clinic offering osteopathy, cranial osteopathy, acupuncture, medical herbs, counselling, sports rehabilitation, homeopathy, remedial massage, reflexology and chiropody/podiatry. We are open 6 days a week and have full disabled access and off-road parking. We tend to draw our clients from the surrounding areas of Birkdale and brown Edge.

Referrals:
Osteopathic treatment in Sefton is not currently funded by the NHS so a formal GP referral is not necessary. Most patients self refer or are recommended via word of mouth. We are covered by all major private healthcare companies, such as PPP, BUPA, HSA and Medicash. If seeking cover for any treatment one must check the eligibility of their particular scheme as some require a GP referral letter before the onset of treatment and need to see a registered practitioner. All of the practitioners at Southport Osteopathic Practice are fully qualified at the appropraite level.

Private health cover
All of our practitioners are fully qualified in thier discipline and have full public liability and professional indemnity insurance. If you have private medical cover and wish to reclaim your treatment fees, please check you policy BEFORE you undergo treatment to see if treatment is eligible with your medical scheme, and that the practitioner you wish to see IS covered by that particular plan. Receipts will be provided for private health patients in order to reclaim their treatment costs.
