Do you have a health problem that
  • Nobody can diagnose?
  • Nobody seems able to treat?
  • That you’ve been told you’ll have to live with?
  • That you are on medication for and the medication is causing you problems?
  • You want to approach naturally?
  • Do you keep getting the same old symptoms over and over again?
I am consulted by many people who answer ‘yes’ to one or more of these questions.

I work with natural remedies, tailoring each session to the individual and bringing to the consulting room qualifications in a substantial number of natural therapies:
  • Homeopathy
  • Kinesiology
  • Naturopathy
  • Allergy/Intolerance testing
  • Nutritional Therapy
  • Craniosacral Therapy
And I bring many years of experience in a very busy practice using natural therapies.

Homeopathy uses minute doses of naturally occurring substances. Homeopathic remedies do not have side effects, and are not addictive. They can be used from birth through to old age. A lot of couples planning a pregnancy start using the remedies and looking at a healthy diet even before they conceive. People come to see me when they have long term chronic problems, and also when they have an acute situation.

Kinesiology is a simple non-invasive muscle response test which I use in my practice to help me understand where the energetic imbalances are in the system and which techniques, homeopathic remedies or diet changes may be appropriate. I also use it to indicate intolerances to food and other substances.

Naturopathy is an umbrella term to describe a healing system that employs natural methods, and remedies. Detailed case-taking, diet analysis, simple saliva tests, hair mineral analysis, stool analysis, iridology and kinesiology are energetic diagnostic tools I have studied and use to a greater or lesser degree in my practice. I then recommend an approach using one or more of the following – homeopathy, nutritional supplements, dietary advice, flower essences, tissue salts, kinesiology techniques – as appear to be indicated.

Allergy and Intolerance Testing and Treatment
There are many kinds of allergy tests available. You can go to your doctor for advice. In my practice you have a choice – kinesiology testing or laboratory testing to identify allergies and intolerances.  Whichever you decide on, you then have another choice – either keep away from the allergen or I can use the test results  and homeopathic remedies and kinesiology techniques to help you manage the problem.

A recent audit of my practice reveals that people suffering from the following have come to me: Hayfever, animal allergies, milk intolerance, IBS, unexplained tummy aches, candida problems, haemorrhoids, psoriasis, eczema, urticaria, behaviour problems, menstrual problems and pregnancy related issues, infertility,  breastfeeding issues, school phobia,  post operative recovery, injury recovery,  back aches, arthritis, musculo-skeletal problems, anxieties, panic attacks, long term coughs, acute coughs, flus, colds,  earaches, asthma and many more.

At present this kind of medicine is not accepted by the mainstream medical profession. Coming to see me in no way takes the place of seeing your doctor, getting a diagnosis from him/her and getting any necessary investigations carried out

What to expect from a session
I will discuss with you usually in advance what you want from the session, and what you can reasonably expect. I will ask you if there is one particular approach you want me to take eg solely homeopathy, or solely allergy/intolerance testing. Most people say they just want relief from a symptom, and ask me to use my expertise to decide which therapy/ies I would recommend.

With the vast majority of patients I will start with a simple kinesiology test to help me find out where the imbalances are and what approach is most appropriate.

You are a part of the process all the way along.

You remain fully clothed for the duration of all of my sessions.

The first appointment usually lasts between 60-90 minutes. Subsequent appointments last about 40 minutes.

Fees
I see people usually about once a month – sometimes more, sometimes less.
My charges (June 2011) are :
£75 plus remedies for first appointment
£55 plus remedies for subsequent appointments
Food Intolerance testing – different prices apply. Please phone for details
Once you are on my books and seeing me regularly , if you have concerns or issues in between appointments, you will find me easily accessible by telephone  to discuss them.
Craniosacral Therapy - £60 for first consultation for adults. Different rates apply for children.
Prices for follow up appointments for craniosacral therapy will depend upon what is needed.

About Me
My passion is about finding ways of helping people to look at ways of managing their health naturally, and to support them through that process.

I have spent many years studying various natural therapies, which has given me a good understanding of the body’s own potential for healing, but I believe a true practitioner is one who is able to coax that potential out and nurture it.
I try to be available for patients as much as I can. I always return phone calls, and I like my patients to know I’m there for them.
