A solution-focused approach concentrates on what you want to change in your life right now and helps to map out with you a way that suits you to get there, aiming to cultivate what has become known as good emotional intelligence. I use and teach techniques which have been shown to be very effective in getting results – things like relaxation techniques and adapting thinking styles, using cognitive behavioural techniques - perhaps also helping you to look at things in a different way.
