Specialise in Acute and Chronic low back pain, sports injuries, ergonomic solutions. Migraines, RSI and Occupational Overuse Syndrome. Also specialise in Babies and Prgenant women.

What to Expect
A high level of service. We are known for our thoroughness and are primarily interested in finding long term solutions to your problem. A thorough case history and examination are followed by a little bit of treatment and some advice on the first appointment. We frequently ask patients to remove items of clothing, so if you'd like to bring a pair of shorts, please do! Any questions will be answered to the best of our ability, but we hope to provide exactly the right amount of information so that you don't feel "in the dark".

About my Therapy
Osteopathy is a manual therapy which focusses on the food functioning of the muscular and skeletal system and through that has beneficial effects on the other systems of the body. It is most frequently applied to people suffering from pain of many types.
Physiotherapy, like osteopathy is a fairly manual system of care, perhaps involving more machinery (e.g. ultrasound, interferential, laser) and exercise prescription.
Massage Therapy is ver hands on, designed to alleviate tight muscles, and tension.
Exercise Therapy is the provision of exercise to improve the health and functioning of your body (and mind).

About Me
Gavin Routledge graduated in 1991 from the British School of Osteopath, being awarded the Gold Medal for Conspicuous Merit. He has worked in England and New Zealand before establishing his practice in Edinburgh. His first book, The Back Book, was published in 1997 and has been republished twice since. He is a popular speaker, and contributes regularly to newspaper and radio articles, with occasional television appearances. He mounted a campaign in 2008 called GETONUP which is to encourage people to spend less time sitting!

Massage Therapy     £42 one hour,     £25 half hour.
