I am originally trained in public administration which I was practising for a short while but recognised very soon that what I really would like to do is to be there for people to help with their problems of every day life and be an easily available, non judgemental support for them.
Homeopathy Barnet - What to expect
A homeopathic consultation is like having a chat with your therapist about what is happening in your life as well as looking at your physical condition you come to see me with.
During the first session, which is 1,5 hour long (the follow ups are 45 minutes) I will need details of your and your families medical history and about the disease or problems you are experiencing such as when the condition start, when is it better or worse. I will ask about your diet, your likes and dislikes etc. Do not worry though, if you feel that I am asking too many questions you can always stop me. I am also willing to answer any of your questions on homeopathy and how it works.
What is homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a alternative healing method, which uses only natural substances to make its remedies such as tiny bits of plants, animals, metals etc. Therefore one of its biggest advantage is that these remedies – compared to traditional medicine – have no side effects at all and can not cause any harm to the patient.
Homeopathy has a holistic approach when healing a disease, which means I will look at your mental, emotional and physical state and find you the most individualised remedy.
What is also unique about homeopathy is that it works on the principal of similarity, which means that based on your symptoms I will find a remedy which is able to produce similar symptoms in a healthy body. The most simple example for that is if someone has runny nose with watery discharge, lot of sneezing and weepy eyes then he or she is very likely to be prescribed the remedy, called Alium Cepa, commonly known as onion as these symptoms are very similar to what we experience when chopping up an onion.
About your Homeopath
Hello all! I am a graduating student of the largest homeopathic college in the UK, The Centre for Homeopathic Education, which is part of Middlesex University and is providing excellent training for people who are willing to heal people with homeopathy. Our lecturers are ones of the most popular and experienced homeopaths in the country. I have been given not only the background knowledge of this science but I am – thanks for the college – able to put what I learnt into practise. I have been attending the student clinics in the last one and a half years and had the good fortune to have patients on my own. The student clinic is run under Ainsworth which is also a very well known homeopathic pharmacy in central London.
Charges and opening hours
I will charge you 25 pounds for the first consultation as it is a bit longer and 20 pounds for the following appointments. The remedies are included in this price and you will receive them through your letter box.
