After establishing a clinic in West London, Nicola is now also opening a Milton Keynes clinic in Willen. She draws her clients typically from the surrounding areas of Middleton, Pineham and Broughton.
A Few Words About Myself
I was drawn to homeopathy after it profoundly helped my chronic health condition. After being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder when I was 11 years old, I relied heavily upon conventional medicine for many years, but still never felt well. By taking control of my own health and by seeking alternatives, I have found myself getting stronger and stronger and can now do things I didn't think would be possible! Due to my experiences, I understand how it feels to be really unwell.
I chose to study at the University of Westminster as it has an excellent reputation. This was a comprehensive four year course teaching Classical Homeopathy. The Degree demands thorough understanding and examination in the following subjects:

I graduated from University with a BSc (Hons) Health Sciences: Homeopathy with Biological Science. I was also fortunate enough to be awarded "The Sheilagh Creasy Award for Classical Homeopathy", which was awarded for excellent performance and effective prescribing in accordance with classical philosophy.
I am bound to a strict code of ethics, as I am a member of the Society of Homeopaths which demands excellence in care. I also hold an Industrial First Aid Certificate.
I am interested in helping people in my local community and am passionate about promoting classical homeopathy.
The Principles of Homeopathy were formulated by Physician Samuel Hahnemann in Germany in the late 1700s. Today Homeopathy is widespread.
Helping the Body Heal Itself Homeopathy derives from the Greek words “homoios” meaning “similar” and “pathos” meaning “suffering”, translating to “similar suffering”.
Homeopaths treat with remedies that mimic the symptoms of the disease to strengthen the body’s own healing ability. This is achieved by a principle called “the law of similars”
The Law of Similars This principle is a belief, which ages back to healers such as Paracelsus, who believe that substances that produce symptoms in a healthy person can be used to treat similar symptoms in an unwell person.
An example of this would be Coffee. Some people experience aggravation from coffee’s stimulating effects. These effects may include increased physical and mental alertness, along with an exaggerated response to stimuli. These people may present with symptoms of headaches, insomnia, and an over stimulated nervous system. These people would be prescribed Coffea Cruda prepared in a Homeopathic manner. By finding a remedy similar to your symptoms, this will induce gentle, safe and natural healing.
Treating the Whole Person Homeopathy is a holistic therapy and the Homeopath will consider the whole person. A Homoeopath will take into account many areas including: personality, hereditary factors, and lifestyle. Homeopathic medicines are prescribed in account of all information given which gives the individual prescription.
The Consultation
Homeopaths treat a whole person's wellbeing and not by treating an ailment in isolation. A crude analogy of what i am trying to say is that of a car. If the battery fails, the whole car is affected, and it is the same with your health.
The first homeopathic consultation will take approximately 1- 1.5 hrs, so we can can thoroughly discuss your health and other important issues, such as family medical history as well as mental and emptional issues. All information discussed is confidential. From the information, i will prescribe a homeopathic remedywhich is non toxic, non addictive and very safe. In most cases, only one remedy is given to induce a healing reaction; much like a boost to the immune system. By using the car analogy; it would be like using jump leads to restart the battery, and it will continue by itself.
In between consultations, I am available by email or telephone for any questions you may have.
The follow up consultation, approximately 4-6 weeks later, last for approximately 45 mins- 1 hr. I will be interested to find out what changes have occued since taking the remedy and how you are feeling generally. If necessary I will represcribe.
You should expect to have three consultations, at which time we will look at the case notes and re-assess.
Homeopathy is not just about helping people in dis-ease, it is also about achieving optimal health. Like our cars which go in for MOTs and servicing, we need to do the same for our health and wellbeing. It is not about treating ourselves, but about maintaining health.
