REIKI - WHAT EXACTLY "IS" IT?
A simple translation is REI - Spirit and KI - Univeral Life Energy.
In essence this explanation appears to be simple but in practice and reality Reiki is very powerful and deeply profound. It is far more accurate to say that Reiki is an Energy - a life-force - a never-ending source of support and strength which sustains us and eanbles us to understand and live within our human - 3-dimensional - existence more easily. Working with and using the energy of Reiki we experience less stress, strain and pain.
Reiki Energy is able to go to the deeper levels of our being - our "whole" being - where so much of illness has it origin.
The profound healing power of Reiki is its ability to open our mind and spirit to the actual causes - the root causes - of our dis-ease, our suffering and our pain. With this knowledge, working with Reiki, we find that we are able to release our resistance to whatever it is we perceive as negative, disturbuing and destroying in our life. Amazingly we realise that we can both understand and accept what is happening and why. Then we find that we can begin to work with our difficulties, stress and pain instead of against them. It is a miracluous process of turning what we perceive as negative into positive challenges which ultimately give us the strength and courage to make changes in our thoughts, attitudes and living. This gives us back our own power and creates a happier and healthier life.
This development of understanding and awareness can be attained through receiving regular Reiki Treatments.
This is particularly so when we experience a time of stress and illness - or - during a time of problems and difficulties that just won't go away! After experiencing the benefits of receiving Reiki Healing what is of even greater personal support is to be Attuned to the Reiki Energy itself.
"BEING ATTUNED" TO REIKI - WHAT EXACTLY IS IT?
The ability to channel Reiki is passsed from Master to Student through 3 Levels of Attunements - movements of energy. These Attunements expand the natural healing energy-flow through our hands, heart and mind.
Being Attuned to Reiki is also a process which enables us to "tune in" again to our own inner selves. To switch on our connection to our higher awareness and consciousness. After being Attuned, working with the energy through regular committed self-practise and focus, both the amount and the power of Reiki energy we are able to channel to ourselves and others developes within us. We are also able to register the subtle - and sometimes dramatic - very positive changes that begin to take place in our lives.
As we move more deeply into working with Reiki we also find that we are able to be more understanding, accepting, loving and compassionate towards others. Over time, consciously developing within the Energy of Reiki - The Manifestion of the Healing Power of Love - we become aware that this love towards others - and ourselves - is not the Conditional Love of the exchange of our individual need and support - the usual expression of our love, each to the other, on our human level of understanding and sharing. We move into a far deeper awareness that it is an Unconditional, Universal and Compassionate Love that we are able to give and express.
REIKI - THE 1st DEGREE
This is an intensive 2-Day Class. The Four separate Attunements are given which re-align both the Body and the Energy Channels - the Heart, Throat, Third Eye and Crown Chakras - enabling you to direct healing to yourself and others, to animals and plants, through touch. The Hand Positions are taught, guidance for giving a Full-Body Reiki Healing - and - the necessary training to become a Professional Reiki Practitioner.
Together with learning the History of Reiki and its development in the Western and Eastern world, time is allowed for practise in Giving and Receiving Reiki, for deep meditation and for the discussion of issues that arise and need to be clarified.
There is a 3rd Follow-Up Day within 3 months - The Reiki Attunement Review Day.
REIKI - THE 2nd DEGREE
The second 2-Day Class is for Students who have practised working with Reiki for themselves and others and have experienced its power and benefit in their lives. Attunement to the 2nd Degree is when you are ready to move further into the deeper diemensions of Reiki Energy. Receiving the single Attunement, learning the Three Sacred Symbols, their Form, their Sound and their Practice enables you to direct Reiki Energy through your mind.
The Practise of Reiki Healing through this degree can be profound - it is a quantum leap forward of your spiritual practise and on your spiritual path. Transcending both time and space it can be used for Absent and Distant Healing and can be focused on the healing of Traumas, Crises, Relationships and Situations, both personal and global - in the past, the present and the future.
There is also a 3rd Reiki Attunement Review Day within 3 months.
REIKI - THE 3rd DEGREE - MASTERSHIP
Receiving the Mastership is a commitment to becoming Reiki - to be Unconditional, Universal, Compassionate Love in all that you are - and all that you do - within the whole of your life.
The training is One-to-One, very personal and it is a time of apprenticeship for each individual student.
