- Bereavement and loss – During times of loss, it's important to explore your feelings and thoughts and our therapists can provide a non-judgemental and confidential place for you to do so.

What to expect from your sessionsIf you are coming to the centre for psychological support we offer a free initial assessment with an experienced psychologist who will discuss your problems with you and then recommend the next step in your treatment. Once this assessment has taken place, you will begin working with a suitable practitioner in a discreet, secure and confidential environment.
For other therapies at the centre, please contact us in the first instance to find out more about your assessment process and subsequent treatment. The number of treatment sessions you will need depend on your individual circumstances but changes typically start to occur after five to six sessions.
About UsThe centre is funded by the Life Story Charitable Trust which was established in 1995 to make the benefits of counselling and psychotherapy available to the widest possible number of people within the Reading, Berkshire community.
