Hypnosis has been used for three thousand years as an aid to healing and wellbeing. Starting with temples in ancient Greece and Egypt, moving on to Mesmer and followers in Europe and then Erickson in the USA, hypnotherapy is now recognised by the British and American Medical Associations.
What is hypnosis?
A trance or hypnotic state is something we all experience daily.
It is similar to daydreaming.
It is a state of inner focus and concentration during which time you are more able to accept positive suggestions.
Most clients feel relaxed and refreshed after a therapy session.
I Specialise in helping clients with the following issues:
IBS, Depression, Fertility Problems, Weight Loss, Anxiety and Panic Attacks, Confidence.

Neuro Linguistic Programming [NLP]
Neuro Linguistic Programming is a rather unfriendly name for a gentle therapy. Its easily learned techniques will enable you to:
- Communicate more effectively, with yourself & others
- Think more clearly & creatively
- Feel more confident & positive
- Overcome fears & phobias
- Achieve more of your true potential
This approach was devised by Richard Bandler and John Grinder, who studied the work of supremely effective therapists and the factors accounting for their success. They later distilled the understanding they developed into the valuable array of techniques now known as NLP. I use NLP in combination with hypnotherapy as light trance work.
I may also use Timeline techniques, which look at the past, now and the future, making it possible to move on from and clear negative emotions from our past, and also to place goals in our future, helping us to understand where we are going.
