About Coaching and Therapy

You may have heard of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), possibly in relation to hypnosis, however there is much more to it than that.

Broken down literally into its meaning, our use of language depicts the way our unconscious mind (neuro) is programmed (programming). Once this is uncovered it provides a gateway to improved communications, in understanding other people’s models of the world and learning how to respond to them. It is also very effective in defining your own personal growth by understanding your model of the world, giving yourself more choices and changing what is unuseful for you. NLP is probably best know for it’s effective use in business and coaching but it’s use as the basis for counselling and psychotherapy is evolving fast.

Neuro Linguistic Psychotherapy is a short term, goal oriented and practical approach to solving problems, achieving goals and personal evolution. It builds on the basics of NLP and includes other psychological models to provide a deeper and more holistic approach which enables clients to take charge of their own development and continue with it long after our sessions have finished. 

About Me
I have over 15 years experience in training, coaching and developing top talent in a business environment, predominantly in financial services and the retail world. I was first introduced to NLP when studying for my MBA, where I experienced its potential in a business setting and its value in helping to build excellent teams and achieve great results.

It was shortly after this that I decided I wanted to spend my life enabling others to overcome barriers in their lives and fulfil their potential.

I have an MBA, am a INLPTA certified NLP Trainer, a certified Master Practitioner of NLP and Practitioner of Time Line Therapy™. I am a member of and work to the code of ethics and practice of the Neuro Linguistic Psychotherapy and Counselling Association (NLPtCA). I am a Master Practitioner member of the Association of NLP (ANLP). I have regular supervision of my client work, am fully insured and am currently working towards accreditation and UKCP (United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy) registration.
 

My Packages & Prices
I charge £60 an hour. Most clients need between 8 and 15 hours depending on their issue and preferred way of working, I will be able to give you an estimation of number of hours required during an initial consultation. Clients can either have regular slots of one to two hours or if they prefer I can do intensive sessions of full or half days, which is particularly popular with clients who travel a distance.
