Jeanette Thomson Osteopath Acupuncture Barnet and Crouch End
I have two practices one in Barnet and one in Crouch End. My treatments often combine acupuncture and homeopathic medicine with osteopathy, naturopathy and laser therapy. Other treatments such as therapeutic massage, relation therapy, reflexology and cranial osteopathy are used when indicated. I usually draw my clients from Totteridge, Arkley and Cockfosters.

CELEBRATING 25 YEARS IN PRACTICE IN NORTH LONDON!

I qualified in Osteopathic Medicine and Naturopathy in 1982 and qualified in Homeopathic Medicine in 1985.  I have trained in both Medical and Chinese Acupuncture and I am a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society. I've travelled widely attending conferences and teaching in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. I recently contributed to Health Which? magazine (August 2003) "Yoga and Pilates -are your Instructors Qualified?"

I have two practices - one in Barnet, North London (020 8275 9435) and another practice in Crouch End, North London (07887907026). They are both multi-cultural so I have lots of experiences dealing with many different cultures. I am BUPA, PPP etc. Registered.


Consultation

My treatments often combine acupuncture and homeopathic medicine with osteopathy, naturopathy and laser therapy. Other treatments such as therapeutic massage, relaxation therapy, reflexology and cranial osteopathy are used when indicated.

A first consultation will be 30 minutes long and a detailed case history will be taken about your present complaint and general medical history. You will be asked questions about your lifestyle and family history. A detailed examination will be made of your spine and posture if you have an osteopathic consultion. System (lungs, heart etc)enquiries will be made which may require a physical examination e.g. blood pressure check. You can then discuss how many treatments will be necessary and what sort of treatment would best be suited for your condition i.e. osteopathy, homeopathy, acupuncture.

I am able to book appointments for MRI scans for £250 and blood tests which you can claim from any medical insurance you may have available. Also I can provide off-work NHS sick notes and a medical report if necessary.

Cost of consultation, examination and first treatment is £40. Follow-up treatments are £40 for half an hour. children's follow-ups are £20 for quarter of an hour.

I practice in Crouch End on Mondays and Tuesday till 8 pm.
I am in Barnet on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturday mornings but will see emergencies there at any time other than Mondays.
