Following a consultation I combine various techniques to support positive change that may include deep tissue, acupressure, lymphatic drainage, Swedish and energy balancing for optimum results and well being.
Yoga Classes and Therapy
The roots of all my work stem from a yogic understanding of how your body, mind and spirit work together to bring you back into a good posture and optimum balance. Combining hatha, pranayama, meditation and core kundalini yoga asanas my classes create a sense of peace, centeredness and unity with yourself and others. The small classes give you the space and attention to find your own balance, strength and inner peace.
1:1 sessions allow us to focus on your specific needs and aspirations.
About MeMy journey as a therapist and teacher began at Stillpoint Hermitage in Colorado with Taoist Master Gia Fu Feng studying Tao de Ching and Tai Chi. I spent many years practicing Zen Bhuddism at The Diamond Sangha in Hawaii and went on to study and practice Vipassana and Metta at IMS in Mass, USA. My search for healing and transformation has taken me through many courses in the USA and UK on Integral Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Deep Relaxation and Stress Management which has given me the qualification and skills to support and guide others.
My passion as a yoga teacher and hands on massage and body therapist is rooted in a personal understanding of the need for peace and equanimity that dynamically influences the health of body and mind. I ran my own school Evolve Healing Arts for many years and have a selection of CDs on meditation and relaxation to enhance your personal space. My skills are also utilized in the Spa sector where I work as a trainer and consultant designing treatments and customer journeys with therapeutic and cultural benefits. My new book The Definitive Spa Therapist Handbook includes The 5 Keys to Energy Balance and Bliss.
