About Homeopathy
Homeopathy uses tiny amounts of medicine to stimulate a healing reaction in a human being. During the last two hundred years, it has been developed by studying the action of substances on human beings. One of the differences between homeopathy & conventional medicine is that it recognises that it is only through knowledge of the action of medicines upon humans that the correct method of application in disease can be found. Homeopathy is dynamic, constantly developing through clinical practice to meet the challenging demands & deteriorating health of the 21st century. It can benefit people with any type of illness – physical, mental, emotional & is suitable for anyone from babies to the elderly.
About Penny I trained at the College of Homeopathy and at New College of Homeopathy in Greenwich, where I obtained my Licentiate and spent two years as a personal tutor to students. Whilst I had a thorough training in the philosophy, principles and practice of classical homeopathy, I also learnt many different, modern methods of homeopathy which have been developed to deal with the growing number of chronic diseases of today.
After qualifying in 2004, I began a two-year postgraduate course on “Advanced Homeopathic Therapeutics” with Dr A.U. Ramakrishnan's Homeopathic Education and Research Foundation (see right) successfully passing the final examination. The course culiminated in attending Dr Ramakrishnan’s seminar on “The Homeopathic
Treatment of Cancer”. He has spent many years researching and analysing which cancers respond best to homeopathic treatment.
I keep up to date by attending seminars which have included: - Infertility – Linda Razzell - Pregnancy and Labour, and Postnatal – Amanda Saurin - Teenagers – Hilery Dorien
Homeopathy Consultations As homeopathy treats the 'whole' person and not just a specific ailment, I would discover what is unique about you and your symptoms and so the first consultation usually takes about 1½ hours. I would ask about your general health, what makes you feel better or worse, what foods you like or dislike, or which disagree, whether you are sensitive to environmental influences such as heat and cold, and wet and dry atmospheres. Your personal medical history and that of your family would also be of interest.
After the initial consultation, I would work on your case and select the remedy most closely matching you as a person, and the symptoms of your illness. This would then be posted to you together with the relevant instructions.
It is very important for me to monitor a person’s reaction to the remedy, so I would need to ask you to commit yourself to at least one follow-up visit. This is usually four weeks after the first visit and the outcome of that visit would help determine future treatment.
My Homeopathy Packages & Prices Adults: £60 first consultation £40 follow-ups
Children: £40 first consultation £30 follow-ups
Follow-up consultations aare generally no more frequent than three to six weeks in order to give time for the remedy to act.
There may be circumstances in which it is possible to offer a reduced rate.

Testimonials 1. Mrs XY – Sleeping disorder I suffered with a sleeping disorder eventually diagnosed as hypersomnolence for many years, sleeping up to 20 hours a day and having no energy when I was awake. The consultant at the hospital prescribed extremely strong drugs that he believed I would need to take for the rest of my life and which had the side effect of depression. I was put into Penny's caring hands and, through her, a miracle occurred in my life. Through her knowledge, patience, perseverance and genuine care for my health, she has treated me to a point where I no longer display any symptoms of this disorder and now need no medication: from her or otherwise. I have enjoyed both pregnancy and now 8 months of being a mum, with just as much energy as any other mums I know. I also used Penny's treatments during childbirth which was an extremely positive experience for me. I cannot recommend Penny enough. She is an amazing and very caring woman with a love for people, concern for their health and ability to help where others cannot. She is now treating many of my family and friends.
2. Mrs CD: “Frozen shoulder” After many months of pain in my upper back which was extending to my right arm and hand, resulting in very restricted movement, I was diagnosed as having a `frozen shoulder’ (cervical spondylosis). I was prescribed strong painkillers which had some nasty side-effects. Penny then treated my symptoms and gave me the homeopathic remedy, Belladonna. Within a few days there was a noticeable lessening of he pain and I was able to sleep. I no longer need to take painkillers and have much greater mobility in my arm. Thank you, Penny.
3. Mr FS - Sinusitis I have been susceptible to sinusitis for many years. I had a rather nasty bout of his which antibiotics failed to ease and I was in a great deal of pain. You gave me Kali bich which completely cleared up the infection, to my amazement, very quickly: within a few days I felt so much better, and I have not had a recurrence.
4. Miss MN – Cracked Feet and Dry Skin Penny recommended that I should take Vitamin E and flaxseed oil when my menopause symptoms began. I noticed a marked difference in my skin within a few weeks, especially m feet where the skin would crack and be very sore. Whilst taking the Vitamin E and flaxseed oil I have no problems with my skin.
I have come to love the study and practice of homeopathy, finding it immensely satisfying to give pain relief in cases where, for example, other pain-killers cannot be tolerated or where other therapies have failed to give relief to people suffering from such conditions as post-traumatic stress. In my spare time I listen to classical music, embroider and garden.
