I have worked as a counsellor for over 10 years and work one to one with adults and children. As well as working in private practice, I work for the NHS in the Primary Care Mental Health Service, seeing patients in GP surgeries. I also perform workplace counselling for large business organisations. I have worked as a school counsellor in both state and private schools and work with children from the age of 5.

I worked for several years with children both as a child-minder and foster parent. I then went on to work in a Family Support Team within Social Services and have knowledge and awareness of child protection procedures and issues.

I have ongoing supervision in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice and have CRB clearance.

What To Expect
It maybe that you feel 'stuck' and don't know what to do to make changes, or you may have experienced a loss or trauma. Feeling a lack of energy and motivation or have low self esteem. Have you had a string of failed relationships and want to make changes or do you just wish to learn more about yourself and your behaviours. In counselling we could work together to explore your issues and help you discover how to make changes and move forward in a positive way. Counselling is not always an easy journey and you could feel worse before you feel better. If you trust in the process it will be worthwhile.


Prices & Session Details
The length of each session is 50 minutes, sometimes shorter for young children.
I have day time and evening sessions available and there is no waiting list.
There is ample street parking.
Prices range from £40 - £50 per session.
