I became interested in natural medicine at the age of 38, when I suffered badly with sinusitis and hayfever. After years of medical treatments, which only palliated the symptoms, I discovered homeopathy. To cut a long story short, the sinusitis cleared after taking some natural remedies, and my homeopath at the time told me that I could also clear the hay fever. Being an outdoors person, I jumped at the offer and I am pleased to say that I have not suffered with hay fever ever again.

So, I decided to give up my NHS job as a nursing lecturer and became a professional homeopath after 4 years of study. My passion for natural ways of healing have taken me to learn also about EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique, Vibrational Flower Essences, and Allergy Elimination Technique.

Homeopathy uses minute doses of natural substances specially prepared in homeopathic pharmacies. Being holistic, homeopathy treats the whole person thus helping with physical as well as emotional and mental problems. Homeopathic remedies have no toxic effects, and are not addictive so they can be used from birth through to old age. Many couples planning a pregnancy, start using the remedies and a healthy diet even before they conceive. Homeopathy can be used to help you with many long-term chronic problems such as arthritis, IBS, chronic fatigue, skin problems, menopausal symptoms, insomnia, headaches, constipation, and also to assist you in healing acute problems like tonsillitis, flu, severe  colds, toothache, indigestion, cystitis. It can also help in strengthening your immune system.

Alongside homeopathy, I can advise you on diet and the use of nutritional supplements, flower essences, tissue salts, herbal medicines, and Narayani remedies.


EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique
This remarkable and non-invasive therapy is an emotional form of acupuncture in which, instead of using needles, we tap with our fingers to stimulate certain meridian points on the body whilst focusing on a problem. In this way we can eliminate the emotional component of that problem. EFT has been found to be effective in stress and anxiety, phobias, traumas, fears, addictions, weight management, and much more. I also teach EFT at level 1 for beginners, and at level 2 for those who wish to become practitioners. Courses run regularly throughout the year.


What to expect from a treatment
We will discuss in advance what you want to achieve from the treatments, and what you can reasonably expect. I will ask you if you have any preferences for a particular treatment, although many people just want to get well, and ask me for advice on which therapy/ies are most likely to help them.

I believe that you are part of the process and I invite you to take responsibility for your own healing.
You remain fully clothed for the duration of all treatments.

The first appointment for homeopathy lasts between 60-90 minutes and about 40 minutes for subsequent appointments. EFT consultations take 60 minutes each, and Allergy Elimination sessions take 45 minutes.


Appointments and Fees
The frequency of appointments varies according to need. For homeopathy, I usually see people once monthly; for EFT, you can decide how many treatments you need and how often; I find that most people are well aware of how much work they need to do. Allergy elimination treatments can take place once to three times weekly depending on how much the body can cope with.

My fees (your health investment) are variable (between £30 to £65) depending on the treatment selected/necessary. Please contact me directly for more details.

10% of my practice supports people on low incomes/unwaged.

Most health care insurance companies nowadays cover you for complementary therapies, if in doubt ask them for details; I may be able to advise you as well.

My passion is in helping you and your family to get well, to stay well naturally, and to support you throughout that process.

I am approachable and try to be available as much as I can in-between appointments. Of course I have other interests too, and I have a family, so I am not available all the time, but I always return phone calls within 24 hours, unless I am on holidays,  and I want you to know that I’m here to support you and your family, specially for babies and small children.
