What To ExpectDuring a treatment, pressure is applied to specific areas in the feet which stimulates the nerve pathways and sends an energy or nerve impulse through the entire system to help the body's own healing potential. Improved circulation also provides more oxygen to every part of the body which will also improve and increase healing time.
Reflexology is entirely non-invasive and I work entirely on the feet alone. You will be in a warm and pleasant room, fully dressed apart from the feet, with relaxing music playing quietly in the background. The first treatment will be about an hour to an hour and a half as I need to take a full medical history and get an idea of your lifestyle at present. Furthur treatments will be between three quarters of an hour to an hour.
About MeI trained to be a Nurse in 1991, then worked at Colchester Garrison as a Ward/Practice Nurse for 9 years. I trained to do Reflexology in 1997 and began working self-employed at Halstead Physiotherapy Clinic in 2000, part time, and have continued to do so. I am dedicated to working within high standards and codes of ethics, which enable me to provide a safe and fully insured practice. I am a Registered Member of the Association of Reflexologists.
