About MeI would like to take a few moments to tell you a bit more about myself. My early career was spent supporting people with learning disabilities and mental health problems who were being discharged from long stay hospitals into the community. I prepared and delivered social education programmes, life skills training and provided counselling.
Thereafter, I worked as a Human Resources Manager, for twenty years, in various Social Care organisations specialising in the management of employee relations and conflict resolution. During this period, as a qualified Trainer/Lecturer, I gained broad experience of delivering professional and management training and delivering skills training to various organisations.
After recognising that training and conflict resolution techniques are hindered by individual expectations and experiences, which restrict individual choices and limit the capacity to change, I began to explore different ways to achieve change. I completed the Hypnotherapy Foundation and Diploma in Hypnotherapy courses at the highly respected and long established Atkinson Ball College. The course teaches advanced hypnotherapy and NLP techniques which can be used to treat a range of different conditions.
I have since qualified in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy and gained NLP Practitioner and NLP Coach qualifications with Igor Ledochowski. In addition I have qualified as a Time Line therapist and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Practitioner.
I regularly deliver training based on using NLP techniques within business organisations, including postgraduate GP courses and coach senior managers and business owners.
I have developed The Discovery Technique, which is a simple but powerful way to assist individuals use their mind more effectively, achieve their goals and control how they think, feel and take action.
