What to expect
When we meet I will take a detailed history and try and get as clear an
idea as possible regarding your presenting issue. From this information I
will then formulate a personalised program to effectively target your
issue. I work in a highly professional and non judgemental way, and by
working with me clients can expect significant shifts and improvements.
About me I am a fully qualified hypnotherapist who has over ten years experience working with clients. I first became interested in this work when I went to study Psychology in 1994 at London Guildhall University. After my degree I went on to do an MSc in Neuroscience at Kings College in London. Throughout this whole time I was also working with clients with mental health and substance misuse issues.
I continued my studies in science and went on to complete an MPhil at Queen Mary College in collaboration with University College London and then returned to full time work, working with the same client group. Feeling quite invigorated by my work and constantly looking for more effective ways of working in this field, I went back to undertake more study and completed a diploma in Hypnotherapy and Integrative Psychotherapy at Birbeck College in London and also undertook professional Life Coaching training. I am currently studying for my DPsych in Existential Psychotherapy at the New School in London.
I am also a qualified yoga teacher (BSY Adv Dip) and a dedicated yoga practitionner. I have been practising yoga and meditation now for the past ten years and have an active interest in how these disciplines can feed into and enrich our work with clients.

My name is Christos, by practising yoga with me you can expect to become stronger, more flexible and calmer with greater concentration. You will be more resistant to the daily stresses and strains of everyday life and will be able to do whatever it is you do but with greater ease and joy.
Christos is a dedicated yogi who has been practising Ashtanga Yoga daily since 1999. He has studied with some of the most experienced and advanced teachers in the world and is totally committed to progressing and deepening his practise. Under the recommendation of his teacher at the time, he started to teach in 2002. He has continued to read and study extensively on all aspects of yoga and spirituality and has practised most other forms of yoga. As well as a daily Ashtanga practise Christos has also recieved years of training in meditation techniques and practises daily.
Christos also holds an advanced teaching diploma from the British School of Yoga and also has attained his Reiki Level 3.
One to One tuition The advantage of having one to one tuition or in small groups is that you can choose when and where your lessons take place. It can be an excellent way of progressing and can often lead to faster results than attending classes as everything is matched to your ability and goals.
This method of learning also suits students who may not feel comfortable attending public classes.
As well as teaching Ashtanga Yoga Christos also has many years experience of working with clients with physical and emotional health problems, and has extensive experience of using yoga to help clients with addictions.
