Mobile Reflexology around Dunstable, Bedfordshire

Caroline is a fully qualified reflexologist and registered member of the Association of Reflexologists living in Eaton Bray, Dunstable, Bedfordshire and visiting clients within a 25 mile radius of her home.

Do you live in the Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Harpenden or Hemel Hempstead area?  If you are pregnant, trying to conceive, suffering from stress, depression, back pain, or any acute or chronic health problems, or lacking motivation, reflexology can benefit you.  If you are healthy and would like to deeply relax your mind and body, you can benefit from reflexology.

What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a complementary therapy which means it works alongside your medicine and can help to alleviate side effects. Reflexology is carried out on the feet and lower legs using a special pressure massage technique which has a positive effect on the physical body. It works through the nervous system via the nerve reflexes on the feet. The feet are not the only place these nerve reflexes can be found but are a very accessible area for treatment. The client is made comfortable in a reclining chair and relaxing music played or they may chat or just relax quietly.

A clear indication that you need reflexology may be that your feet feel uncomfortable, painful or you are particularly aware of them.  They may feel lumpy in places. You may think that you have a foot problem but it could be an
indication of a problem in another part of the body.

Pregnancy Reflexology and Post Natal Reflexology

Reflexology can help with the various symptoms experienced during pregnancy and although having one or two treatments near the end of the pregnancy is beneficial, starting treatment earlier has even greater benefits. Reflexology is becoming known for being effective in reducing labour time and even the amount of pain relief needed during labour. When your pregnancy is nearing the due date or beyond, a specially tailored reflexology treatment may be just what you need to prepare you for labour and frequently precipitates the onset of labour within 24-36 hours.

After your baby is born, reflexology can help to get your body back to normal more quickly and may even prevent post-natal depression as it helps to balance hormones.  To help with this, reflexology can be carried out whilst you hold your baby if it is not possible to settle the baby for long enough while you have your treatment.

Fertility Reflexology
If you are having fertility investigations or treatment such as IVF or IUI you will be aware of the stress this causes to yourself and your relationship.  Reflexology can reduce stress and restore the energy balance for both parties.  It will also help you to cope with the side effects of drugs which since they work on your hormones can cause symptoms such as water retention,  agitation and mood swings.

Having experienced ectopic pregnancy, miscarriages, IUI and IVF first hand and having succeeded finally in becoming a mother of one child, Caroline can understand what you may be feeling and is committed to helping couples pursue their desire to become parents.

Back Pain and Spinal Reflexology
Many people suffer from back and neck pain or stiffness and may be unaware that other parts of their body can be affected as well.  Each nerve root starting at the spinal cord supplies a different part of the body. When a person suffers from back pain this often means that the part of the body that is supplied by the particular nerve root may also be affected.  Reflexology can identify and treat this.

Caroline incorporates her additional knowledge of spinal reflexology into treatments as necessary, which means she is able to target the nerve root reflexes that supply the various glands, organs and parts of the body as well as the particular reflexes themselves.   This is carried out on the feet on the spinal reflex.

90 Minute Reflexology Session for £40
On your first visit you will be asked about your health and lifestyle as this is a holistic therapy. This means you are treated as a whole person and not a set of symptoms. Then your treatment will be carried out, during which time you can ask questions if you wish or wait until afterwards. You are guaranteed to receive a thorough treatment.

Testimonial from a satisfied client
I originally contacted Caroline to see if reflexology could help cure a mystery pain in my foot.  The pain disappeared and other health problems I suffer from (including sinus pain, headaches and skin problems) have eased considerably.

More importantly, Caroline's sessions have helped me cope with the stress and pain of marriage breakup.  She has enabled me to keep my sanity and a positive attitude. Ms AR (Leighton Buzzard) - Sept 2010
