Welcome to this profile page!
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about the way I work ~
I have a history of working in 'helping people' type jobs and found that these experiences led me into counselling as a profession. I aim to be open and honest with my clients and help them to find their own solutions to their problems. I believe that counselling can offer clients and opportunity for change, and opens up a variety of choices for them. Whilst this can be very empowering it can also be quite frightening. I endeavour to support clients through this sometimes painful process, allowing them to make their own choices along the way.
As you my have seen Care To Listen has counselling practises in Croydon, Bromley and Tooting. We are also able to make home visits in certain circumstances.
Care To Listen has two lead counsellors, Eve Stephenson, that’s me, and Sharon Thomas, who is featured on our Croydon profile.
We both work at all our locations and it is possible to ask to see either of us.
• We are both qualified Integrative Counsellors, with plenty of experience of working with a wide range of issues.
• We frequently attend training workshops and courses as we are committed to being able to provide the best service we can.
• We regularly attend sessions with a suitably qualified counselling supervisor; this ensures that our practice is ethical, well informed and client focused.
• We are able to offer individual and relationship counselling.
• We are experienced in working with many issues.
• We are fully committed to working with all our clients and endeavour to offer them a high quality, caring and flexible service.
Hopefully I have been able to clarify things for you in some way, but if you would like to know more about counselling in general or how Care To Listen can help you please contact either of us by e mail or by telephone.
Alternatively you could check out our website, which has more information on it.
