Bowen Therapy Long Eaton Nottingham
I practice the Bowen Technique – member of Bowen therapy association of Australia. Additional training undertaken in stroke and ME management/ treatment. I am also a qualified practitioner of Meridian and Energy therapies, with the association for MET’s.
Treatments can take approx 45-50 minutes, although as we say in Bowen “less is more” and sometimes a shorter treatment time is indicated. Very gentle therapy can be done through thin clothing. Consists of small moves over muscles and tissue, followed by waits allowing the body to take up the message put in by the moves. Suitable for the elderly to new borns.
About Me
I have spent a number of years investigating and training in different therapies, Reiki Crystal Healing, Hopi Ear Candling, Indian Head Massage, EFT but I choose to specialise in Bowen Therapy as it is a far more serious and effective technique. I take at least 16 hours C.P.D. a year and hold a first aid certificate and full insurance in line with B.T.A. requirements. I am a down to earth person, and like to think that I can get along with people from all walks of life.
Charges
£30 Human Bowen
£35 Equine Muscle Release therapy (10 mile radius, but I will travel further depending on the number of horses)
I am available for treatments most days in the week, usually 9.30am to 4pm but can do late appointments if required. I will treat horses at weekend if required
I also practice equine muscle release therapy the only accredited Bowen Therapy for horses. I trained with the Equines College of learning and research and a member of the same organisation. I specialise in the Bowen Technique because it is so effective. I sometimes use my knowledge of Meridian and Energy Therapies alongside, as a way of shifting blocks to healing and finding the root cause of a client’s disease. I love animals of all kinds and hope to expand more in animal healing in the future
