Amanda Wilson is a clinical Hypnotherapist based in Harrow Middlesex. She was a hypnotherapy lecturer for the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH). Here she trained in some of the most up to date techniques as well as Traditional Hypnosis. She Tutors for the college but left lecturing to put more into personal debvelopment workshops. What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis or suggeation therpay has been used as one of the oldest healing techniques since the "sleep Temples" of Egypt. Through the histories of ancient Greece and Rome some form of hjypnosis has always been a part of all cultures.

What is hypnotherapy like?
The actual experience of being hypnotised is very difficult to explain. Neither asleep nor awake, all Hypnotic states are characterised by extremly pleasant relaxation. You will probably have already experienced other trance states, for example daydreaming about something nice or being absorbed in a good book or film. Hypnotic trance is an empowering state of consciousness into which individuals allow themselves to enter so that beneficial suggestions may be given directly to the unconscious mind.

Amanda practices from the Haven Therapy Centre in Harrow, she runs workshops and is also available to give talks in groups.
