My main specialisms and interests are in the “energy” therapies Reiki,
Reflexogy and Health Dowsing and I am continually expanding my knowledge
within these areas. I also enjoy working with Mums-to-be during their
pregnancy and afterwards to show them how to use BabyReflex techniques
themselves on their own babies.

Chosing your therapist is an important and personal decision - you need to be assured of professional competence, empathy and a commitment to help you achieve your aims regarding your physical and emotional health and well-being. As an individual you are unique, and treatment plans at Equilibrium are designed on the same basis - taking account of both your physical and emotional needs. You may need a simple relaxing session to unwind at the end of a busy day or a course of treatments aimed at a specific problem. My relaxing therapy room is home-based so there will be no waiting when you arrive, nor will you feel rushed to leave at the end of your visit.
Complementary therapies should be seen as preventative as well as remedial - regular treatments can boost your immune system and help your body to make use of its’ own recuperative powers. Therapies available include Reflexology, Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Hopi Ear Candling, Health Dowsing and Remedial Aromatherapy Massage as well as Pregnancy and Pre-conception or Fertility Reflexology treatments.
Usui Reiki Training Courses and Dowsing Courses are also offered on a regular basis at this central and easily accessible Leicestershire location.
What to expectOn arrival we will discuss your expectations for your visit, your general health and lifestyle, together with any specific physical or emotional issues. Together we will agree a treatment plan which is suitable for you and your lifestyle commitments. All information given is, of course, completely confidential. Stress is often a direct or indirect cause of many ailments and illnesses and your initial consultation may include a planned course of action to help restore balance in your often hectic lifestyle. On subsequent visits we will review any changes which have taken place and make any adjustments needed to your treatment plan.
About MeMy name is Allyson Williamson and I offer caring and professional treatments from a relaxing home based clinic in the pleasant village of Barlestone .Having myself experienced the benefits that complementary therapy treatments can give for general well-being, stress relief and specific health problems, I wanted to be able to give others the same benefit and have been working professionally as a therapist since 2004. I believe strongly in the self regulation of complementary therapists - this mean that you will have confidence that your therapist is fully qualified and insured and regulated.

There is no additional charge for your initial consultation but please allow an extra 15 minutes on your first visit. Treatment times shown include time for review at the beginning and end of your treatment for review and discussion of any issues.
