What to expect from a hypnotherapy session
Hypnotherapy can bring about positive changes in your life very quickly. By identifying the root of your problems, I can help you identify what is holding you back. So that instead of feeling stuck you are able to access the necessary resources and take back in control of your life.
Your hypnotherapy session will take place in a quiet room. You sit in a comfortable chair and you will not need to lie down. The environment will provide you with a clear space to sort out your issues.
Your problems will be discussed in strictest confidence and the outcomes you wish to achieve will be clarified .I will then explain how the process of hypnotherapy works and the techniques that I will be using.
It is important to remember that You are in control at all times. The process that I will be using will enable you to understand the nature of your problems and to remove any” charge “i.e. a negative memories or experiences that are causing the reoccurring problems. In order to change your thought patterns a variety of techniques will be used so that you feel more confident and self assured .This will include positive suggestion sand visualisations. You do not go to sleep when you are hypnotised and at all times you are aware of what is being said to you and what you are saying. Hypnotherapy is not dangerous in any way.
At the end of your hypnotherapy session you will be instructed to come out of the hypnotherapy state. You will feel calm and relaxed as if you have had a refreshing sleep. You will feel in control and more positive and resourceful . Your experiences during hypnotherapy will then be discussed along with some practical techniques that you can use between sessions. Three sessions is the average time for the resoling of problems using hypnotherapy
