Hi, Im James, your fully qualified Alexander Technique instructor. You can find me in Stockport, Manchester, Wilmslow and Macclesfield. Most of my clients come from Manchester and Cheshire, including lots from Hazel Grove, Cheadle and Bredbury. I work closely with physiotherapists throughout Cheshire, and I also teach to the NHS, the BBC, and Chethams School of Music - so youre in safe hands. Youll learn the Alexander Technique really easily with me. Most of my clients sign up for 6, 12 or 24 sessions. I always provide homework (just ten minutes a day, with no painful exercises!)

I’m an expert Alexander Technique teacher, registered with STAT, the CNHC, and CRB approved.
I also teach mindfulness to individuals and groups who want to be more present in their daily lives and at work.

What To Expect

Sessions last 30-40 minutes, and the first one usually lasts an hour.
You’ll find out how to be much more at ease in your body by improving your self-awareness and posture.
I work on easing out your posture into painless, effortless movement.
We also practise daily activities like sitting well, using a computer well, bending and lifting well – and whatever else you want to learn – riding a horse, playing golf, speaking with confidence, and so on.
If you like we use video feedback so you can find out how your new posture is helping.
