Description
The AoR was founded in 1984 by 10 reflexologists with very specific aims:

  • To create an independent, fully democratic association of qualified practitioners

  • To create a network of professional Reflexologists, providing support/ ongoing education through seminars/ workshops

  • To produce a regular Newsletter to keep members in touch & provide a forum for the exchange of news and ideas.

From its modest beginnings the AoR has now grown into the largest reflexology organisation in the UK boasting in excess of 8,100 members.

The AoR exists to promote and progress reflexology providing support for over 7,000 members throughout the UK and overseas. Our members are mainly qualified practitioners, or those undergoing training for a professional qualification. However, they do offer friend membership for members of the general public that have a interest in reflexology.

We provide support for our members in the form of training, advice and guidance, publications and events, and set standards for the education of Reflexologists.
