How Can Testing Help You!
Bio Chemical Tests
There are a whole range of tests available and most can be done easily by you at home. Popular test included…
Stress hormone Are your stress gland under functioning? Digestion Do you have adequate digestive activity? Bowel Bacteria The quantity and type of both good and bad can be measured. Homocysteine High levels of homocysteine increase the risk of heart disease. Insulin High levels can indicate poor sugar balance.
These tests require a sample (usually saliva, urine, hair or stool) to be posted to the laboratory in London for analysis together with the fee payable. A handling charge of £5 is paid to the practitioner and the results are discussed at the next consultation.
Self Assessment Tests at Home
Where applicable I also give advice about many traditional and useful tests that can be done at home.
Allergy Testing
‘On the spot’ allergy testing of electrical energy associated with food intake has limited value as these results reflect foods currently being eaten and results can vary with different practitioners. These often provide extensive food lists for avoidance and do not give the most important answers… such as… a. How long the food should be excluded and to what degree? b. What underlying factors have caused this disruption and how to put it right? c. Are the symptoms due to ‘food intolerances’ or a temporary system imbalance? Allergy and intolerances usually result from three underlying causes: poor digestion, leaky gut or low immune protection in the gut. All these can be tested.
Pulse Testing
As food intolerance cause an immune reaction this usually includes a change in heart beat, I will identify ‘suspect’ foods which can be tested after a short period of avoidance with a simply repeatable Pulse Challenge Test at home. This process can be repeated for any suspect food and can be repeated to monitor the improvement situation.
