Frequently Asked Questions
Some Commonly Asked Questions.
What does working with a Clinical Nutritionist involve?
A nutritionist will not only advise you on a good ‘diet’ for weight loss etc. but also help you improve how your body absorbs, uses the food and gets rid of its toxic waste. A nutritionist investigates nutrient imbalances, disturbed body functions and prevention of the degenerative diseases. Advice on an individual supplement programme is included as appropriate.
What will the consultation be like?
Your nutritionist will explain any underlying imbalances affecting your health and after discussion with you, provide a tailor made written programme to suit your requirements. Diet: Details will be given of foods to be increased or decreased and any extra nutrients needed to help your body overcome any health imbalances in the shortest possible time. Vitamins and lifestyle: Ideally a person should be able to obtain all their nutrients from food, however poor food production and eating habits often lower levels of essential nutrients in the body so some specific supplemented nutrients could be useful to improve your chances of significant progress. Details are supplied. Lifestyle: Your nutritionist will identify lifestyle factors that are adversely affecting your health and make practical suggestions to help you make changes. Some areas I advise on are sleep and relaxation, exercise, stress management, practical food preparation and shopping
Are all nutrition supplements the same ?
No, I recommend supplements that are organically sourced, free from additives and contain 100% active ingredients.
