About Me Heather Lyons
 |
|
I had a family and a successful teaching career as a Head Teacher in Primary Education when my teenage daughter became ill with ME.
I fed her for three years searching for answers. It became evident that nutrition was fundamental to health and when she was well again I re-trained as a Nutrition Therapy practitioner. |
Heather Lyons Dip ION Cert Ed MBANT
Member of the British Association for Nutrition Therapy
I studied for three years at the Institute For Optimum Nutrition London where I obtained the Nutrition Consultant's Diploma and became a tutor. I also won a prize for my research work in the field of arthritis.
I have been a Fellow of the Institute for Optimum Nutrition since 2001.
I have busy clinics in Rugby and the East Midlands, advising clients individually to get the best nutrition to maximize the health potential and prevent further illness. I see hundreds of individual clients, providing them with an analysis of their nutrition status and providing a practical programme for improvement and restoration to health.
I attend courses regularly for continuing professional development and I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists and the Nutrition Therapy Council.
I take referrals from local doctors, health clubs and private clinics and community homes. I am a popular speaker, a vicar's wife and have two adult children.
I have particular experience helping clients with all digestive problems, arthritis, chronic fatigue /ME, weight problems, hypoglycemia and hormonal problems. |
