Your new website – Our simple step by step guide

Step 1 – A Telephone Consultation

This will enable us to get an idea of the type of website design you are looking for.

In advance of our chat, you should think of websites you like, and the image you would like your website to portray. Descriptive words are a great help (e.g. modern, traditional, professional, friendly, warm, clinical etc) as are any specific styles or colours you prefer.

You may already have a logo or printed literature you like that you could send to us to base our designs around. If you don’t have a logo, we offer a design service to create one for you (ask for details on application). Finally we will advise on site structure and navigation at this initial stage. If you decide to go ahead, we’ll request 50% of the set-up costs.

Step 2 – Design Approval

We will come back to you, usually within 5 days with a front page design for your website.

Please remember we have only charged you 50% of the set-up costs by this stage. Therefore, if for any reason you don’t like our design, we can make changes or if required go back to the drawing board.

Step 3 – Pages & Content

You will be asked to provide the Page Titles you would like – we can help and advise you if required.

When you have decided on your Page Titles, simply send them through with the text for each page. Our designers will then create each individual page for your website. If you need content written for your site we also offer a professional copywriting service. Ask for details.

Step 4 – Approve & Sign Off

We aim to complete all websites within 3 days of you providing us with your Pages and Content. When you approve your final website we will put it live and then send you an invoice for the remaining set-up costs and any ongoing costs.
