Muscle Pain
What is muscle pain?
Muscle pain describes a symptom rather than being a pathological condition in itself. Pain in the muscles can be described as cramps, soreness or stiffness. Muscle pain typically indicates excessive strain or misuse of a group of muscles but can indicate certain disorders or disease.
Muscles are an integral part of the body’s mechanical function and pain is a warning that something is wrong in the body and requires correction, healing or rest. The key is to not ignore muscle pain; it’s there for a reason.
