Bullying
Bullying is the intentional act of causing physical or emotional harm to other people through assault, harassment, manipulation or coercion. Bullying can take place wherever there is social interaction (school, work, home, online) and is characterised by aggressive behaviour to gain control and power over another person. Bullies use verbal abuse, written abuse, physical abuse or social exclusion. Bullying is often due to the bully feeling inadequate, jealous or perhaps being bullied themselves. |
