One Day Therapist Marketing Course
Originally run as a two day course or a series of modules, this course has now been condensed into a fast paced one day intensive course.
Have you ever wondered why you struggle to find clients even though the clients you do have praise your work? Do you have a great referral rate but due to the fact your client base is still very small, it's still not enough to pay you a full time income? At the end of the day, no matter how good you are as a therapist, that really is only half of what it takes to be successful as a complementary therapist.
These one day intensive courses will teach you the do's and don'ts of marketing, pr, corporate image, how to gain corporate clients, how to convert more enquiries to clients and much more.
The next course date is: Saturday 25th October 2008 From 9:30am-17:00 (approx.)
Location: Manchester City Centre
The cost of the course is: £95.00 Per Person. Rates for schools & multi-practice centres available on request.
Who Would Benefit This Course?
In short, any complementary therapist who is not already making a full time income at the higher end of the earning potential. The course can also be taught as modules within therapy schools and multi-practice therapy businesses.
I'm a full time hypnotherapist with centres in Manchester, Glossop and Sheffield. I also teaches hypnotherapy at British Ethical School of Therapies where I also advise trainee hypnotherapists on how to market and run their business.
Before training as a hypnotherapist, I enjoyed a successful career in sales and marketing. The later years were spent as Sales and Marketing Director of a retail company and Sales and Marketing Manager of a £15M company in the gaming industry. Prior to this, most of my career was spent Business to Business sales and marketing. My clients included household names such as Coca-Cola, McVities, Cadbury, Nestle, Trebor Basset, Bass Brewers, Castrol, Barclays Bank, Yellow Pages, C&A, Makro and De Vere Hotels.
I developed retail and wholesale advertising and point of sale concepts for these companies, always selling in an advisory capacity and never needing to sell on price. My job was to increase their business and my work included working closely with their marketing departments as well as our own design teams, creating projects that would increase their market share.
I was also responsible for managing, training and motivating telesales and field sales staff. Due to the senior positions held, I also worked on several business development programmes with management consultants and training companies.
When I first started as a hypnotherapist, although I had a wealth of sales and marketing experience, I still found many forms of advertising that had worked well in previous industries were a waste of money as a complementary therapist. Although a lot of the content of the courses at Therapist Marketing comes from years of sales and marketing experience, much of it also comes from the early days of my hypnotherapy practice and the expensive trial and error exercises I undertook. Through these courses, you now have the opportunity to learn from this experience without wasting thousands of pounds on ineffective marketing and advertising.
