'The Centre for Nutrition Education and Lifestyle Management (CNELM) in Berkshire provide an 18 week evening class for complementary therapists to complete ITEC Level 3 in Health Eating and Well being. For those living at a distance or can’t make regular Tuesday evenings online access to the lectures is also possible. Prospective nutritional therapy degree students can also take this course to help identify whether nutritional therapy is the right career path for them.

Background Are you a Complementary Therapist looking to pursue a career in nutritional therapy? If so, the 'ITEC Level 3 Award in Healthy Eating and Well being for the Complementary Therapy Client' can add nutrition to your current skill base to help improve your clients' diet and health.
What To Expect This course will enable you to provide healthy eating advice to clients you already treat with another therapy in order to help improve their health and lifestyle. The course will teach you how to inform your clients on food and nutrition and how to identify signs and symptoms of nutrient deficiencies.
Your Teacher – Michelle Barrow Michelle runs a Nutritional Therapy Practice called Health Generation and has a first class degree in Nutritional Therapy and a Masters degree in Nutrition. She has completed a teaching diploma (DTLLS) and has Qualified Teacher Status (QTLS).
Course Details Assessment is carried out by coursework (5 case studies under supervision) and examination.
Entry Requirements: 5 GCSE's at grades A*-C (preferably to incude English Language, a science subject and/or GCSE in Physical Education. Exemptions may be made for adult returners with experience in the workplace.
Applicants must be practising as a Complementary Therapist with insurance and registered with a relevant Professional Body. Applicants can register on the course following a personal or telephone interview.
